    Bob Kingsley (1995):  Country Music's major success story of 1995 is that of a young woman from Canada who spent six consecutive weeks at number one on "Billboard's Country Album Chart" and six weeks in the top ten of the "Overall Billboard Album Chart". In doing so, she broke both Wynona's and Mary Chapin Carpenter's records for number of consecutive weeks on top of the "Country Album Chart" and Reba McEntire's record in the top ten of the "Overall Album Chart". She's also only the third Canadian artist to hit number one on "Billboard's Country Singles Chart". Anne Murray did it ten times, Hank Snow did it seven, and this past July Shania Twain scored her first number one song with a tune that finishes number seven of the year: "Any man of mine".
